How To Remove Bat End Cap

David Grossman - The Memory of the skin

Grossman this year received the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade. He had me until then had not come between the reading finger and I wanted to meet him.

A book for which I took quite a long time. Certainly I have had it are at the two months on my nightstand.

For Grossman, I really have to watch again for a long time. He escapes, remains hidden behind his characters. The stories from sliding completely into fantasy worlds, where you do not end, do not know if both realities are dreams.

The book is divided into two stories, not related in their featured guests. They are connected by the theme "unalterable love" "Love to total dependence."

I liked the second part of the mother-daughter relationship better, and I would have started any more. The second part - "The Memory of the skin," tells of intense physical experiences of neglect and helplessness.

Why Choose Grossman is his intensity, but I was in between some moods, that I do not now interested in how it goes. On the one hand, because it was reasonably foreseeable and seemingly on the other hand, because I - especially in the first part - do not understand this complexity and reticence could. Perhaps

but I had simply hidden Grossman and I discovered later in my life again.
