The loneliness of the primes
For me, an adult novel. Nevertheless, nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. I have it normal to be fiction. Because a novel for all people.
It starts very confusing. A story about a little girl. Next chapter. A story about a little boy. all held in inner monologues. What's up? Why the kids are so lonely? In their distress left alone?
WHILE reading, I always had to check the page number, because it was so late and I had the greatest fear, I can not get more reading done that night because I was so tired. But one side goes. I will not stop, want to know how to do it with Alice and Mattia further. Good. after 272 pages I had to give my need for sleep. - And that means have to wait another day to the sequel! Only at night I can take back the book at hand.
The end dismisses a not happy with a smile. They come from their involvement and the walls built up not out. Only today I can write about it because I with the noise, with this mass of impressions, with the (un) density of the experiences are consistent only had me.

It begins immediately, as if someone is sitting opposite and unexpectedly begins to tell his story. Simple. true. captivating.
I have this story on 24 12. read. I opened it and read through the gift letter, and then opened only briefly. The small Enaiat me then in his spell drawn. As he cheerfully with 10 years and no longer finds his mother. As he describes the feeling of emptiness. A flowery language that conveys this feeling of numbness so clear.
He survived the worst experience, wage labor (slave labor), heavy construction work, arrest, smuggling, fear, shock, lost friends, ...
At 15 he is washed ashore in Italy, he gets a status of "unaccompanied refugee and care for the first time.
